What most other car models would see as a good thing, the Jeep Wrangler community of current and future customers sometimes sees as a threat. even more so when it's a new color in a line of controversial editions and only available for a short time. Even more so, the primary color is purple, which doesn't happen very often.
Earl and Reign are two new colors for the outside of the Jeep Wrangler that can be ordered right away for the 2023 model year. Earl is a unique shade of gray with hints of aquamarine. It was first used on the Gladiator Farout concept car for the 2020 model year and is now available on the Wrangler lineup for the 2023 model year.
Purple is back for the 2023 model year as the purple "Reign." It was last seen on the Jeep Wrangler (JK) in 2018. The purple "Reign" can be ordered as an exceptional paint finish for the 2023 model year, but it will only be available for a limited time. Customers who love the unusual will like it.
"When Earl was first shown on the Gladiator Farout concept car at the Easter Jeep Safari, we got a lot of good feedback on it, and we pay close attention to what our customers like," said Jim Morrison senior vice president and head of Jeep North America. "Limited body paint finishes have always had a lot of fans because they are fun and real, just like the Jeep community."
Earl and Reign are the latest in a long line of bright special colors that make the Jeep Wrangler even more unique and attractive. They come from the factory in a unique color palette.
