Long-distance truckers can train at the Garmin-sponsored outdoor exercise center at the 24-Total Autohof Wörrstadt beginning November 4. The Truckers Life Foundation designed the fitness center, which promotes a healthy lifestyle for professional drivers. Truckers Gym is the Truckers Life Foundation's main project, involving the creation of free open-air gyms in Europe's largest car parks. The introduction of the fitness center is yet another component of Garmin's trucker offering: This includes, in addition to customized truck navigation systems, dashcams, and a trucker headset, the Smartwatch Instinct 2 dzl Edition, which is specially intended for the needs and daily lives of truckers, as well as new workouts developed by the Truckers Life Foundation. The Trucker Gym at 24-Total Autohof Wörrstadt is the 111th fitness center in Europe created by the non-profit Truckers Life Foundation.
The new outdoor sports complex at the 24-Total Autohof in Wörrstadt will open on November 4, 2022. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and invites you to work out on various fitness equipment. The facility is appropriate for exercise enthusiasts of all fitness levels and helps them maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The Truckers Life Foundation has created customized workouts available on the Smartwatch Instinct 2 dzl Edition. These workouts are designed to help truckers train during their breaks while remaining active in their daily duties.
"We are very excited about the opening of this trucker fitness facility and are delighted to continue to support the health of long-distance drivers," says Thiemo Weinschenk, Garmin's Head of Automotive Product Management EMEA. "With our Instinct 2 dzl Edition Trucker smartwatch and all of the Truckers Life Foundation outdoor exercise facilities featured on Garmin dzl truck satnavs, staying fit at work is now easier than ever."
We've been working with the Garmin brand since this year. Our health-promoting workouts may be found in the Garmin watch designed for professional drivers and in the Garmin truck navigation systems. "The Truckers Life Foundation is grateful to Garmin for their support," says Paulina Rudnicka, project manager at the Truckers Life Foundation. "We believe that healthy drivers are more likely to be safe on the road." That is why we encourage children to live a healthy and active lifestyle."
"I'm glad to see that the network of trucker fitness centers is expanding and helping to enhance the health of long-distance drivers." The trucker fitness facility, in conjunction with the Instinct 2 dzl Edition, promotes a healthier and more active lifestyle in a work that requires sitting for long periods," stated Marc Rohde, trucker fitness specialist, and Garmin brand ambassador.
