Lufthansa Cargo is increasing its long-haul route network in the upcoming 2022-2023 winter schedule by adding flights to high-demand destinations and a brand-new location. By the month's end, Lufthansa Cargo will have more space available for sale after taking delivery of a second Boeing 777F freighter. In October, the fleet will expand by one more medium-haul Airbus A321F. Flight times on shorter and medium-range routes will be shifted and extended accordingly, and these changes are currently in the planning stages.
Lufthansa Cargo has scheduled a total of 78 weekly Boeing 777F freighter connections for the upcoming winter of 2022-2023. There are 38 connections per week to exciting locations in Asia alone. The airport code for Hanoi is HAN, and it's a brand-new addition to the schedule. Beginning in early November, there will be two weekly flights between Frankfurt and Hanoi via Mumbai (BOM). Lufthansa Cargo already has a twice-weekly service to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) from Frankfurt (FRA) via Bangkok (BKK), doubling the frequency of the cargo airline's existing service to Vietnam. In addition, there will now be four weekly departures from Frankfurt via Kansai (KIX) to Seoul (ICN). Additionally, there will be an increase from four to five weekly flights to Hong Kong (HKG), China.
In addition to the currently scheduled 34 weekly freighter rotations between Europe and North America, Lufthansa Cargo's offer from Frankfurt to Mexico City (MEX) will be increased from five to six flights per week, and the offer from Frankfurt to Chicago (ORD) will be increased from seven to eight flights per week.
Lufthansa Cargo will maintain its tried-and-true four-weekly South American routes and two-weekly European connections via the B777F to Tel Aviv (TLV) and Cairo this winter (CAI).
Markets in North America and economically robust Asia are showing exceptionally high interest in Lufthansa's products. Ashwin Bhat, a Member of the Board of Management for Product and Sales at Lufthansa Cargo, is ecstatic about the company's plans to construct a new station in Vietnam to provide its customers with "an attractive offer for high-quality freight transport to this region."
Starting October 30, 2022, the current winter schedule will be in effect. Lufthansa Cargo not only promotes the additional loading capacities of more than 6,000 flights operated by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings Discover, and SunExpress but also offers a freighter offer consisting of eleven Boeing 777Fs and five machines of the same type at AeroLogic. @via Lufthansa Cargo.
